Refer to the law and rules for certification requirements. The instructions on the next page correspond to specific rule numbers, depending on the specific path to certification. After receipt of all required documents, your application package will undergo an administrative review. If additional information is needed, you will be advised by email. When the administrative review is complete, the application file will be forwarded to the Board for approval. Following Board approval, you will be notified of admittance to the exam or certification, as the case may be.
The biennial certificate renewal fee shall be due on or before January 31st of each even numbered calendar year, regardless of the date of certification. Though exempted from continuing education requirements for the first renewal, thereafter each certificate holder must meet the continuing education requirements outlined in the rules.
